Continuing w/ wedding pics for today...ceremonies!

All the pics of the dresses, started making me think about our ceremony and I got butterflies and goosebumps

I don't have access to any ceremony pics on my work computer but I do have this one shot that was taken RIGHT afterwards outside of the church by my aunt! It is one of my favorite moments of the day.......we just looked at each other and he said 'We did it!'

This is the best picture I have access to right now of this. But since DH is a 1st grade teacher a ton of his students and their families made the LONG trip from Suffolk to Inwood for the church. The priest called them up to the alter and asked them a bunch of questions about marriage. It was AMAZING and super cute - we had no idea it was going to happen

Once I got to the altar and held DH's hand I bowed my head and said 'Holy $hit!' - it was the first time I realized it was OUR wedding and that everyone was behind us watching!

I've told this story a bazillion times, but it gets me everytime! I wasn't nervous at all on our wedding day UNTIL I got to the church and everyone had already walked down the aisle, except for me and my dad. The music changed and I suddenly got really nervous and my eyes started tearing. My father pulled a metrocard out of his tux pocket and told me 'The bus stops right outside, there's still time to run.' It was perfect in every way. It broke the tension and we laughed and hugged and walked down the aisle beaming.

I love my daddy!

The hand-off. How cute are these two?

DH smirking because the priest said 'Jillian, repeat after me. 'Daniel.'' and I thought then that he was speaking to Dan, not asking me to repeat. So DH had to give me a little nudge.
