do you have a grill pan? I would sear it using a grill pan on the stove & then finish it in the oven

You can cook them in the broiler underneath your oven....that's how I cook them. Some people even cook them in a frying pan, I don't, but I know people do.

I used to use the broiler in the oven but now I use my George Foreman grill which I love.

I do have a george foreman but the one & only time I tried to cook it on there, the burgers came out hard & dry.
Should I mix the meat with something before cooking? I am a cooking spaz.

I don't use all meat. I add S&P, an egg & a dash of Worcheshire Sauce or red wine. I also shred fresh cheddar & mix it in there.

try mixing in lipton onion soup mix into the meat...i've done that before and it's come out pretty tastey!

You can always make them in the oven. I have a pan that has a top that has wholes in it. That allows all the fat and juices to drip to the bottom and you have a nice burger when you are done. Cook time depends on how you like them.

the forman grill always works great for me, but i also only eat turkey or veggie burgers so maybe that makes a diff? not sure.

I use the grill pan

you can also just use a regular frying pan.

I mix the meat with 1 packet of lipton's onion soup mix, a big squirt of ketchup, a few dashes of worcestshire sauce, maybe a palmful of breadcrumbs, and a little water. They come out delish!

Make sure you don't have the heat too high... I'd go with maybe medium and then check the middles to make sure they're cooked. If the outside is getting too burnt and the inside is raw, I just stick them in the micro for a minute to make sure the inside cooks. Let us know how they come out!

I usually do the george foreman grill and they come out tasty. Before the foreman, I had also cooked them in a regular frying pan.

Dh used to cook them in the toaster oven. He has a 2 part pan w/holes. Now we use the griddler :)

You can fry them in the fry pan. my mom made them that way when I was growing up!

used to do them in the frying pan until i got a grill pan. you could also do them on the foreman but don't close it, and just flip it on the plate.
