cooking question...how many days in advance can i make.....??
wanted to get a head start on the cooking, but im wondering how many days in advance i can make things without ruining the taste
okay, here is the list - so far...... (still adding to it)
*apple pie *kit kat cake *sauteed spinach *sauteed broccoli with feta and tomatoes (and other stuff, not sure...this is DH's dish) *spinach and ricotta lasagna with garlic tomato sauce *baked brie with apricot preserves
thank you!!

The apple pie and the lasagna can be made in advance. I actually prefer reheated lasagna over fresh. Sauteed spinach only takes about 10 minutes to make, so I would make that fresh. I don't know about other stuff. HTH!

The desserts I would make the day before. The lasagna I'd say you can make early, freeze it, and then thaw it out and re-bake. Baked brie I usually prepare mine the night before but I don't bake it until it needs to be. The sauteed spinach and broccoli I would do on the spot.

You could definitely make and freeze your baked brie and lasagna up to a week in advance. I made my baked brie on Saturday for this Friday and it is in the freezer. It doesn't need to be thawed either.
