Cooks Illustrated subscription

Anyone know where to get one cheap?

I just can't bring myself to spend $30 on a magazine that I'll toss after a few weeks

ooh, I'm a cooks illustrated loyalist.

like consumer reports, you can't get a subscription 'cheap'. There are no ads, and no discounts since they regularly review brand name products............

That said, if you just want a pile of golden recipes, go to their website and buy a few cookbooks...

If you want recipes and product reviews, subscribe to their website. then you can easily search years of recipes for exactly what you need.

trust me, it's TOTALLY worth the $$$....

dang..
well I guess I'll spring the whopping $20 and get it.. I just opened my Kitchen Aid mixer this weekend and it had a coupon in there for the year for $20... best price I've seen yet.

Thanks for the advice!
and thanks for reminding me of Consumer Reports Now I want a subscription to that too
