cool hobbies???

Just curious..anyone have any cool hobbies??

Anything cool you can post? I want to see pictures of maybe art work or something?

I should be transcribing this chicken scratch that this one lady gave me, but I can't figure it out..so I am bored lol

I love to take pictures of food that I make, mostly baked goods though.

I love to bake anything, and my goal is to bake everything out of my Martha Stewart baking book that I have. I heard Julia Child did this and that is how she learned :)

I collect action figures and comic books.
I used to to draw, but I don't have anything cool to post lol

No, they are all in my photobucket account but I can't get onto them here. They are mostly stuff I did when I was younger. I have a TON of fashion models that I drew up clothes for. I have some comic book stuff , Dawn, Witchblade...I am sure none of it is as great as I think it is.

I did however, do a pencil drawing of my niece when she was first born. I have that in there as well. If I can get on later and find any of it, I will post it. I love doing portrait drawings.

oh, I also used to do stenciling.

I have pictures on my myspace page of stencil work I did for DH's band. I made him shirts.

I also know an artist who does castings for action figures, and I did a stencil of a picture he had on his website...I freehanded a drawing of a sculpture someone else that I know did. I think my myspace actually has alot of my recent artwork.

Well, as you all know, I love to cross stitch! I have a whole album of some of my work in my LIW albums, but here are a few that I have done recently and I got paid for them, too!

Marisa those are really great!! I am sure one day I will end up doing something like crocheting, cross stitch or knitting. I love how relaxing it is.

Thanks, hun! It is definitely super relaxing! I can do it while I sit and watch TV - although I DON'T do it when Lost is on b/c that needs my full undivided attention LOL!

GORGEOUS pics!!! I took semi-nudes of my friend pregnant but she'd kill me if i ever posted them...haha

I also do photography...Some pics...

...and take Tae Kwon Do.

I love seeing others photography b/c I love trying to understand someone elses vision. I LOVE the picture of the glasses of water with the light shining into them almost...beautiful.

great pics ladies, i have a question. Can you recommend a good camera, not for professional photography not looking to get into that, i just dont think i'd be that good lol. But I need a camera that takes decent pics, i hate my camera and its horrible, the lighting and just everything about it.

Christine, these are gorgeous pics! What camera do you use? Did you take any classes or are you learning on your own? I would love to get into photography as a hobby. I look forward to taking many pics of my kids.

I on the other hand bellydance as a hobby. I will be doing a solo soon (April) when I get the video I will post.

If you want just a nice Digital Camera, I would recommend the Sony Cybershot. I have had that camera forever, and it has always served me well. It is a 4.5 megapixels, but you can probably find a 5 or 6 megapixel cybershot at a better price now. I have my nikon that DH got me for my b-day one year, but I have to say, I sometimes use my Cybershot when my Nikon is charging b/c it's not that bad.

Just my opinion from what I have and what I have used. :)
