So tonight I decided to start the demo of Grandmas kitchen
As I am in the middle of ripping down wallpaper I find. a secret hiding spot my Grandfather made where my Grandmother kept some of her expensive Jewelry she promised to me and forgot about that secret spot!
Best idea tonight was to start that dreadful project
Goes to show you girls sometimes the old timers hide things in houses and or houses you buy ! New homeowners l@@K everywhere you might come across a good find

Girls I was soo depressed b/c one piece was a really expensive large Cameo that I always admired and she PROMISED It to me and thought she had given it to me already and that I must of lost it. I insisted I didn't and she insisted I did
I had a dream about my grandparents last night and saw Grandpa he came to visit - as stupid as it sounds it felt like he helped me find it today b/c it was his spot.

That is a great story & I agree with you that your grandpa helped you find his hiding spot. I have had similar experiences with loved ones that have passed away.

Wow what a great find and that was freaky that your Grandpa was in your dream the night before. Maybe he helped you. We found old newspapers in DH's grandfathers house looking in the attic where nobody looks and it was cool to see stuff that old. But that was good that you know have something of your grandmother's you can treasure.

thats a beautiful thing!
it is true though...our cousin found the previous owners $5k hidden stash in the house he just bought while he was remodeling... you never know!

ooo please take pics of it. I love cameos, I wore them on my wedding day. I had very old earrings from my grandmothers someone that I wore w a bracelet. l ve them

Oh how beautiful! My mother would be dying, she is a cameo afficionado, she just loves them so if she found any, especially ones that beautiful, she'd pass out.
How lucky you were to find them.

That is soooo cool! You have to write about that and put in pics-like make a scrapbook page because its a fun story your kids will love one day and the cameos are just gorgeous.
