Our photographer gave us beautiful proof albums and a CD. Unfortunately I cannot download pics from the CD. The proofs are on a slideshow and it's locked. Can anyone help????

What do you see when you browse the files on the CD - just one file (the slideshow?) or multiple files? If it's just the slideshow file, what type of slideshow is it?

depending on what made the slide show, you might be able to gain access if the indivdual pictures are not written on the cd.
let me know the answer to the above and we go from there

They probably use a proprietary software to prevent you from getting the photos. If thats the case, you won't be able to do much unless you are a programmer.

our photographer did this, too... sooo annoying!! we tried to 'Screen capture' each individual picture, while the slideshow was playing ( don't ask me how-- dh did this) but each file is labeled with a number, so its on the screen capture, plus DH was saying the DVD quality of the pics probaby won't be good enough to print out as a picture anyway... i understand they have to protect themselves... but come on! isn't that why we pay them $$$$??

It's just one file - the slideshow. Slideshow file is Firehand Lightning Embedded Slideshow.

if you can get the slideshow to pause, you can try hitting alt and print screen and paste to image into even paint or something similar and crop it to size.
