Re: Country Fans: Any good new songs?

I just listened to a country station last night for the first time in FOREVER! Apparently, my new house is close enough to the north shore that I get a Connecticut country station 92.5FM. I am so happy!!

Anyway, there was this song called 'The Love Song' but I cannot remember the artist (sorry!) It is very pretty and the lyrics were very meaningfull.

'The Love Song' is by Jeff Bates

A few others are:
'What a Beautiful Day' by Chris Cagle
'Was that My Life' ny Jo Dee Messina

I will have to try to think of others for you

Re: Country Fans: Any good new songs?

'What a beautiful day' is so popular now. There is also a song called 'Have you forgotten?' about the war and 9/11. They play it all the time here in TX. I never know the artists though...

Also, Clint Black has a song that I think is kind of annoying, but extremely catchy. It is called something like 'Iraq I Roll'. It plays off 'I rack 'em up...I Roll'...pun with Iraq.

Re: Country Fans: Any good new songs?

'hae you forgotten?' is GREAT. Love to hear it but no country stations in NY. I heard it when listening to SEan Hannity (talk radio)..,and I see the video on CMT.
I think the artist is Darryl Worley.

GREAT SONG! (did I say that already? )

Re: Country Fans: Any good new songs?

Claud- It is nice to have a country station. I listen all the time and love it.

I just listen to the station. I don't really write down the songs. I have to pay attention for you Stef.
