Cranky vent about old topic-POLITENSS in FM!

I know we have re-hashed this a dozen times but I needed to make sure that horse is dead because lately I am getting alot of FMs about wanting to see my B pics from brides I do not know.

Thats totally cool. IF i know who you are. But if we don't know one another (unlike the 07 girls who we snip and argue but we KNOW one another) then at LEAST before you ask me to send you nalf nekkid pics, say 'Hi my name is so and so.'

Don't just say something along the lines of 'Im interested in seeing the pic. i want to do these for my DH. Send me the link.'

COURTESY and common sense go a long way ladies....

If you want somethign from another bride, definelty ask nicely but also if its something of a personal nature, INTRODUCE yourself. You wouldn't walk up to someone and say 'let me see the pics iny our wallet of your kids' without at least a handshake.

I did see her pics and they are defiently HOT! She's just a beautiful girl so her FH will go into convulsions I am sure! HAH

One thing I noticed about all the pics is they ahve that glossy look. I didn't touch mine up enough I am thinking. The ons Luara did are flawless but mine needed more work to get rid of the impercetions. Oh well. DH sees it all. He loves the stretchmarks.

EXACTLY! I don't care about giivng out info. You girls know I am always all too happy to help a sister out with anything in my power. Im not b!tchy in the sense of keeping what i paid or my ideas secret. BUT...say HELLO first.

The other thing that annoys me is brides who spend EXTRAVAGENT amounts on their wedding then want my templates for the TY cards i design, or the albums citing they have no money. Three of the girls who did so said they were broke but they AHDNT GOTTEN MARRIED YET!!!!! HELLO why are you worrying about TY cards?

And you know me. I aa mush. if you say 'Jenn I really am sorry to ask but I have no dough. Could you please do me this huge favor and I'll owe you one,' I would sigh but say sure and do it because I was a budget bride. I understand budgets (not that im not reasonable to begin with) But DONT take advantage of me.

One bride to be got mad at me because I would not tell her step by step how to DUPLICATE a template of mine in photoshop.

HeY, if you want to look at my design and carbon copy it on your own, more power to you. But dont get pissy because I wont 'steal from myself' to tell you how to do it. I share info on color correcting and design tips but Im not going to draw a map of step by step directions so you can recerate the same exact design and take credit.

Sorry...lol went off on a rant. Done now!

Oh I don't care. We spoke a few times in Fm. I mean people that are literally out of left field. I dont mind people wnating to ee them. As long as they promise not to put them on the net I am fine with it, but at elats say 'Hey Im so and so, loved the idea of b pics and loved your ideas, etc etc. Would you mind sending me he link?' thats all.

Jess if you want to see them just FM me your email. I can send you the book link for the album I did for my DH. Its more manageable that way. On the site its like 500 photos cause of all the outtakes so its a pain to go through.

See, this is where I'd be going to h*ll on the express elevator...

I'd be posting their FMs including S/Ns....

oh no! you are totally right.
anytime i asked someone how they did something , or apprx how much they spent, or tips regarding anything wedding/ hm related etc, i was always gracious and polite in my fm.
and if i liked something they did, i was sure to compliment them first!

in your case, with a template, that takes a lot of work on your part! and anyone asking to 'borrow' it, should be humble, thankful, and polite!
