I know we have re-hashed this a dozen times but I needed to make sure that horse is dead because lately I am getting alot of FMs about wanting to see my B pics from brides I do not know.
Thats totally cool. IF i know who you are. But if we don't know one another (unlike the 07 girls who we snip and argue but we KNOW one another) then at LEAST before you ask me to send you nalf nekkid pics, say 'Hi my name is so and so.'
Don't just say something along the lines of 'Im interested in seeing the pic. i want to do these for my DH. Send me the link.'
COURTESY and common sense go a long way ladies....
If you want somethign from another bride, definelty ask nicely but also if its something of a personal nature, INTRODUCE yourself. You wouldn't walk up to someone and say 'let me see the pics iny our wallet of your kids' without at least a handshake.

Uhm, who am I speaking to?
W T F is wrong with people, I mean my dad drilled inot my head when you call someone you say 'Hi, this is Ryan, is soa nd so home?' Then it was annoying (I was 15) now it makes perfect sense!

EXACTLY! I am a real PITA with my younger brother on this because I think especially with the younger generations, etiquette isn't pressed as much. But first impressions unfortunately DO matter and a good strong handshake and a polite opening greetign work wonders for achieving what you want.

I've gotten some that were really nice and sweet... and others, NOT SO MUCH!
I remember one in particular... it was maybe a week after steve's accident (he was JUST out of the hospital) and I had an FM from someone saying that they know I'm going through a lot but that it was 'REALLY IMPORTANT' that they know how we got so much food for our wedding (I had posted the menu we picked earlier that month). I mean, the girl was nice and said she was glad steve was okay... but still!

LMMFAO..yea that stuff bothers me. I mean I know we were all in crazy bride mode at one point or anotherm but use some tact people. If she needed the menu she could ahve said, I am sorry for being callous enough to ask this but its close to our time to make our menu and I really liked yours. I think if I ever saw that the guy would have to call 911 to come scrape me off the floor from heart-attack due to laughing my @ss off. Smallest I ever had was like 4 inches HARD and I didnt even know it was in place till he started grunting.
Thankfully my DH is half Italian and its alllll the GOOD half

My point is unless we have interaction on the boards or Fms, just drop your name. Otherwise I will take lisence to ignore you (general you not YOU per say) since I feel i am not being personally adderssed.
Like Jagruti-johis girl. She and I talk through the boards alot but not via FM. but if she asked me somethign via FM without stating her name I wouldnt care because I 'know her' and she has made her introductions to me via the board. Make sense?

I asked her if she had a virus on her phone
that last one with the noise....O M G!! I opened it at work in my cubicle and it said would you like it on silent mode....THANK GOD I SAID YES!!!!!
