hey colette---i just realized the thread about Sharpton being arrested is gone from LIF---it got pulled???
I know it was locked. Perhaps it just fell to the 3rd or 4th page b/c no one could bump it?
no -- the one about Protestors itself was locked
But someone else started another thread titled 'Don't worry everyone Sharpton got arrested!'
i don't see it anymore.....someone listed all the shady things that Sharpton has done over the years on that one. Did that one get locked too? Me thinks it got pulled all together.

MJs looking for a different thread though, there was one entitled 'Well everyone can relax, Al Sharpton got arrested' or something similar. That was UP this morning so it must've been zapped sometime between 8am and 10:30am; its likely someone reported it, though i am baffled why they would, it was a VERY restrained thread...

No---the one you are talking about is the one Colette posted a link to above and it was locked. she got into it with me pretty good (vegalady) as well as a few others towards the end.
its worthy of your reading--i think you'd hump me a little towards the end.
but i'm thinking the other one i was talking about got pulled.

she was telling people that they sounded like a 'broken record' bringing up Brawley--and i wanted to HUMP Quasi who said 'kind of like people mentioning old cases of police shootings?'
i don't understand how someone could say 'you need to get over that?' um--do you think the guys whose families and reputations where dragged thru the mud and publicly humiliated like that and acused of a BRUTAL rape....yeah i totally would be like 'oh well---your B! we're cool right?'

It was disingenuous of her to bring up the Tawana Brawley gripe in a gripe about protesting the *injustice* of the Sean Bell homoside.
