So right before I woke up this morning (late too - the alarm didn't go off and DH was late because of it), I dreamt I was in the shower at my old apt in Massapequa (haven't lived there for 4 years!) and my rings started to RUST and DETERIORATE! I got out of the shower in the dream and my wedding band, which I had on my right hand for some reason, had a crack in it and it had broken in half!!!!!! I woke up and looked at my hand with relief.
I don't even want to KNOW what that means!!!!!

OMG OMG OMG you are NOT going to believe this! I wish I had posted first so that you would believe me BUT I had a similar dream!
I was in a car sitting between my dad and a real estate agent ( LOL ) and my ring fell off! I looked at the back ( of my e ring ) and it had rotted and there was a big hole in it! So it kept falling off! So I put my glove on OVER it to keep it on for some reason. But then when I got out of the car, I took my gloves off and it fell again and I had to crawl on teh street to find it!
But it was so crazy that the band was just missing a huge peice in the back!
What does it mean?! I was so upset in teh dream!

Wow that is a strange dream........ Do you sleep with your rings on? Maybe you were touching it subsconciously and that's why you dreamt about that? Or we can go with Kim's theory

I agree, I am a nut.
Part of this dream was also that the owners of the house, an old italian couple named Lucretia and Onofrio (they were CRAZY but adorable), were making crazy driveways and one led to the back of the house and we were watching them do this - well the crew was doing it - and wondering what the hell they were doing, and i said, oh, maybe we'll be able to park right in the back by the door instead of on the street now! The house wasn't the same one we lived in, but I knew what it was supposed to be.
That's the first time in a long time that I had a dream that crazy. I drank a bit last night but not much - maybe I will blame it on the beer.

wow! in mine, it was a big slit in the ring and it was like rusting away and deteriorating as I watchd it. I think I thought it has something to do with the water so I got out, and I think - I think, can't remember the whole thing - that it was re-building itself when I got out of the shower, but it was still rusty, and I was getting mad at the jeweler and was planning on calling him and giving him a piece of my mind!
I emailed him yesterday to say I needed appraisals because I am getting new insurance .... maybe that's related????
PS Tilde -- I am sure you are thinking the same thing I am about the meaning - I mean come on, rings falling apart = marriage problems????? That's the very first thing I thought. Maybe we are just worrying about that ever happening in the future??? You and I are alike in that sense I think -- from what I can tell from your posts, you are a worrier like me .... but we are FINE.
