Crazy Psychic Story

MIL's friend is a psychic and she came over on Saturday night. DH is freaked out by her so I am not allowed to let her 'read me.' We were talking about babies and I told her that I wished that I could ask her about my time but DH wouldn't like it. I explained that he wanted to wait five years. She bust out laughing and said 'you wont even make it past the summer!' she totally slipped.

but MIL didnt realize who she was talking to and thought she was talking to SIL who already has three kids and freaked out ( all of those pregnancies were also predicted ) so the psychic clarified that SHE will NOT be having any children.


DH walks in and gets all angry and he grabs my arm and makes me leave the room - totally overreacting. I find out after that he thought she was telling ME that I was never going to have children and he got so upset and he wanted to get me out of that situation ASAP.

How crazy is that though? SHe said that he would be freaked out at first but then we would be perfectly okay.

I told him. EVen though he is not ready - he felt so bad when he thought she said that i wouldnt have any that he was almost relieved by what she REALLY said

here is the thing, i am on bc BUT once my refills are up i want to switch to a different kind bc mine are $45/m!! and i just found a few kinds that are $15/m so now i am debating should i just stick to the expensive ones or switch and maybe that is when the 'accident' will happen?!

I can not wait to see when it really happens......

that is crazy........i totally believe in psychics but i also think that sometimes if they plant the seed you will make it come true on your own not because its your 'fate' - kwim? so that is why i don't ever want to talk to one.....last month when i got off the plane in florida this woman came up to me, asked if i was from NY, asked if i just got married then told me she was a psychic -she asked if i was on my honeymoon and that is when the red flags went up b/c we were not on our HM - then she handed me her card and basically told me something bad was going to happen to my family - then as she walked away she said but in the end there will be peace.....but DH noticed her on our plane, she went up to other people, and really how hard is it to guess that i am from NY when i am on the same plane - and i look young and had my e-ring and wedding band on - so i think she was full of it - but i was seriously pissed - i couldnt believe someone had the balls to scare me like that.....

but omg if you really do get pregnant that would be weird! and how sweet of your DH to protect you thinking she was upsetting you!

Oh yeah I would never pay anyone or anything like that. This woman is very religious and will not take money for her gift - she is a sweetheart. She also won't tell you anything if you don't want to know which made it funny that she slipped with this. She has predicted almost every big event in DH's family's life - she even saved his father's life. . . she knew he had heart disease before he showed any symptoms or any doctors caught it!

She also believes that if she says something and you dont want to make it true that you can change it. Like when she warned SIL that she would get pregnant she could have been more careful but she wasnt and it came true. Or she could see FIL getting sick but he changed his diet and lifestyle so he was able to change it.

It was very sweet of DH to be so protective, we have been having a rough time lately so it was nice to know that the feelings are still there - deep down inside!

this woman you are talking about is the EXACT reason i didn't believe that woman at the airport - i felt like if she truly was a psychic and saw that my family was in trouble she would have come up to me and would have helped me for free instead of trying to scare me and other people in the airport for some money.....

that is really great that you know someone like that!
