A friend of mine loved my unity candle that I made for my wedding.
She asked me to make her something like that for her daughter's first birthday, but I have no idea what it should look like.
She really wants me to do it for her and she said to surprise her, but I have no idea what it should look like. How can it play into a birthday????
Any thoughts?????
ETA: I had a hard to adhering the vellum to my candle. I had to use clear stickers to hold it. You could see it if you turned it around, but I didn't care because it was mine. For a gift though, I would want it to look better.
How did you do it?????
Thanks

Re: Creative Newlyweds...I need your help!!!
I did a quick search online and found this one as an example. You could also add a strip of ribbon along the top and bottom edges to dress it up.

Wow, thanks!!!!!!!!
I didn't know they make these.

Maybe some of that stuff the put at the bottom of those birthday party hats? (but only at the bottom, so it doesn't burn )

You might be able to find cake 'ornaments' that you could pick into the candle... there are nice ones out there that aren't plastic. just an idea.

I would imagine Michael's or AC Moore would have something, I was going to suggest pearl pins.

I used pearl pins on the back of my candle to reinforce it.
