Custom Cake

So DH's birthday is coming up and I was thinking of getting him a custom cake - like the groom's cake brides get for their hubbies. I know it depends on the size of the cake and how elaborate it is but does anyone know what price these cakes start at? Also, any recommendations for any good bakeries within 20 minutes of the Woodbury/Syosset area?

typically they cost $6-8 a slice some places higher.

Cakes by Jay is in the $6-8 a slice range but if its a more difficult design then will be $8 a slice.

he is located in Glen Cove. Not sure if for bday he would charge differently or not.

Audrey's also makes nice fondant cakes

I was thinking of something with a Star Wars theme - DH's favorite movies of all time

This is the cake from my rehersal dinner! It was soooo good and the inside was red velvet!

It was from audry's and only cost me 90!!!

The one I got for DH was from Dortonis in Levittown. I think it cost around $180.00

Audrey's made our wedding cake and it was soooooo good....they are in Sayville. Another good one is Black Forest in Lindenhurst...they made my shower cake and it was delicious
Now I want lol!!
