now that youre married do you and DH still celebrate your dating Anniversary?
Our 6 year anni is coming up on March 4th and DH thinks I'm nuts for wanting to celebrate. he's like we're married now! we celebrate Sept 19th!
i wanna celebrate both!

Mine was yesterday actually. We went out to dinner on monday but for my bday not anniversary so since we celebrated something the night before, no we didnt this year. I had a horrible past 2 days so no didnt celebrate at all yesterday actually

We still do. DH likes that day better bc its the day after his BDay so we always go away since it is the summer. I am the only that slowly tries to pull him off the 2 celebrations instead of one.

i would have liked to celebrate ours- we were 10 years January 29th- but we were in the middle of a big fight so we didnt this year.
we probably would have/and will in the future do what michele said and go out for dinner just to kind of acknowledge it

nope, DH has the worst memory I've ever encountered in my life. There's not enough room in his memory to remember our dating anniversary. It's quite limited in there.

We do small things, just like Espo my special days are so close together- Valentines (14), my B-Day (16) and our 10 yr dating Aniver. (17). We decided the economy is too crappy so we went out to dinenr for V-day, my mom's for my b-day and we are going away to a bed and breakfast in two weeks for our anniversary. We kept it simple but its a decade so we have to do something nice!

Me: Hon, we're going out to dinner Sat nite. DH: Why? Me: Don't u remember, it's our dating anniversary. DH: Ummm....be glad I remember your b-day.
Then I drag him out to dinner and he tells his friends that 'the wife is making up holidays and excuses so she can get a meal out of me.'

Our dating anniversary is Feb 4th, Vday is the 14th, and our anniversary is on the 17th, so we'll just be celebrating everything on the 17th for now on. we do acknowledge the 4th though and say happy anniversary, but that's it.

We recently had the same discussion. 3/17/09 will be our 12 YEAR dating anniversary and we ARE celebrating no matter what he says! (Not like we won't be celebrating St. Patty's Day anyway! )

DH remembered ours but wrote on the dry erase we have on the fridge 'Happy 8 years!' so I wrote back 'It's only been 7'

our dating anniversary was this past sunday--we went to dinner with my brother and a friend. but DH made sure to call me and say 'Happy Annviersary'
we still like to go out to eat, even if its just something cheap.
