Dating Anniversary

We never had a real date. We kind of had a time frame. We cant remember the exact date we kissed!! So we always go by the month of March!

So to answer your question, our anniversary is our wedding date.

This is how we celebrate it,

Me: Hon, we're going out to dinner Sat nite.
DH: Why?
Me: Don't u remember, it's our dating anniversary.
DH: Ummm....be glad I remember your b-day.

Then I drag him out to dinner and he tells his friends that 'the wife is making up holidays and excuses so she can get a meal out of me.'

nope, DH has the worst memory I've ever encountered in my life. There's not enough room in his memory to remember our dating anniversary. It's quite limited in there.

DH remembered ours but wrote on the dry erase we have on the fridge 'Happy 8 years!' so I wrote back 'It's only been 7'

I know, he's a sweetie! I ended up getting him two dvd's Nick & Norah's Ultimate Playlist and Zack & Miri Make a Porno. And a cupcake from Crumbs!

Def. have some kind of celebration! It's a great milestone for a couple!

nah we never really had one.......we would say august 2003 is when we started hanging out a lot and by that december we were really dating seriously i guess - like just dating eachother by that point....i dont know, its kind of hard to say......so its nice that we have a real date to celebrate now

ehhhh not really, ours would be feb 23rd but we dont really celebrate it. we acknowledge it i guess

We celebrated it NOT being our anniversary anymore

Actually we got engaged on our dating anniversary so its still special for us, but we just got each other cards and ordered take-out

Us too.... we kinda settled on his birthday but it was never like a REAL date..although we kinda consider his bday...so this bday it'll be 6 years nd yea we'll celebrate his bday and mention it

My DH is the same way refuses to even acknowledge it.
