David's $99 dress sale my @ss (staceylacey come in!)...

I only went to David's Bridal bc I heard about the $99 dress sale and I was looking for an inexpensive second dress for the after-wedding portraits we're getting for our anniv (didn't want to wear my dress again- too heavy, etc). Well that whole $99 dress thing is such a gimic to get ppl in stores! There were literally 3 I saw that were actually $99, they were soo hard to find and picked through and heinous looking IMO.

Anyways, I ended up getting a dress but paid more than I wanted for a second dress.

Staceylacey- did you go to David's yet? Get your dress to trash??

Heres the pic of the one I bought- really light, kinda flowy (no pics of me in it yet, maybe later)...

Im sure that dress is better then any $99 dollardress you would have gotten, its pretty and I bet it looks great on you

true true. more moolah but compared to the $99 dresses i saw, it was worth it. i dont think i could have found anything for as cheap as i wanted anyways. the thing is, i was psyched about the price of the portait session. but i didn't really want to buy a dress that is almost that much too. oh well! kinda what i get for wanting a second dress after i already paid for/have my original pricier wedding dress.

aw, great idea!! cant wait to see your pics. our shoot is 8/26
