Day after pics??

has anyone or is anyone going to get after-wedding pics taken? i am toying with the idea since my wedding was in february and it was too cold for outside pics... and i kinda missed a few poses i wanted... would it be dumb if i wanted to get back in my dress, get hair and makeup done, get DH into a tux and have more pics taken? please give me your honest opinions.. and if anyone has had it done can you post pics from your actual wedding day and of the after-wedding pics please? thanks so much

I personally wouldnt do it only b/c DH and my family would look at me like Im nuts, LOL, (I'd have to explain it to them!) But I feel very happy with Thomas Paul's pics that he gave me, so Im just gonna let it be. BUT if you feel like you didnt get everything you wanted out of your photographer and you think it would be fun, absolutely go for it!!

I was looking at thr Blue Daisy site the other day....and she even does pics for Mommy's to be and their DH's....soooooooooo cute!!

I think Day after pics are fun. I think it would be great to put on my dress again.

Yep we are doing them. At first I did feel (and stioll do a lil' bit) thats its LOONY to do it again BUT....so what. I figured we're doing it more like 'the wedding we wanted' if that makles sense. No its not a beach but its Pete and I having a good time. I am sure we will both be a little self concious at first but we're going to pretend that we are just married and hey fi people ask id we are newlyweds, the answer IS yes...lol.

We're not trying to recereate the day, just have fun, Our SIL and her partner might even come just to have fun because they think its a cute idea and Erin's a photographer also so she 'gets it'. I am sure my parents won't but Im not planning to tell them.

We are doing them with LAura Ryan who did my b pics as well.

I actually wanted to do them too, but a bit more casual, but then the more i thought about it, I said years down the road I didn't want my kids to not know which pics were the 'actual' wedding pics and I also didn;t want to take away the specialness to those pics, So i've changed my mind and were going to wait till we preggers and have kids to do more formal shots.

Oh the other had, I really want to do trash the dress shots at the beach or something like that. DH thinks its crazy! I think it would be so much fun!!!

But this is just my opinion and I have seen some amazing day after shoots, and I was able to take a ton of pics outside so if I wasn't I probally would feel different.
