Day after pics- to have a bouquet and bout or not?

I'm not sure. What do you think??

Personal choice. We didn't do one-we were planning just to get a bunch of flowers from a little vendor in the city but honestly, it wasn't needed or missed. Its about trashing the dress....your wedding dress, liberation etc.

But if you're going for a more wedding look like LIcees which were gorgeous, you migth want to do the bouquet.

thx for input jenn.

hmm, just not sure. we're not trashing the dress or doing a marathon of locations (not really feasible with mobility issues).. we're doing one beautiful location for artistic, romantic portraits, with kind of a natural, rustic feel.

still kinda debating whether to use one or not. your pics were amazing without, licee's were amazing with, so i know its no biggie either way, just trying to think of what would fit our session best.

for fun, maybe ill start looking at ideas for a unique rustic, natural bo-k.

ITA with Jenn - It is a personal preference.

I chose yes for my own reasons.
I actually made mine the day before , grabbed some flowers from vendors took wire and ribbon and called it a day
I was impressed with the Bo-k to be honest and it was inexpensive since we got them on the streets in NYC.

ok I am no professional and certainly an amateur on arranging bo-k
Take a look a the simple design I came up with - I had help from DH holding the stems together making them tight as we wrapped ribbon around them.

Sorry these were the best close ups i had
just to give you an idea

This is exactley what I was going to recommend. I would go to the florist, buy I couple of long stemmed flowers that I love and tie them together with a pretty ribbon. Almost like a rustic, natural, no frills look. I think that would be beautiful

I would say no... I like the idea of raw pics not with all the extra stuff.. You already have traditional wedding pics.. these are just the really cool different style ones

They are truly wild. are they even in season? I have to go look into this flower. They kind of look like bee hives

Since I don't know your area I cannot even help as to where to go look for flowers besides the local grocery store which most probably will only have roses. The local florist will still charge you alot per p. You will save only about 80 - 100 maybe.. not even that much of a savings.

What about hydrangea They are in season and really inexpensive - they just don't last long out of water. I have some in my backyard - does anyone have them that you can clip off a bush to use? Just a thought.

Besides the reason that I love peonies and I could not have them for my 1st wedding b/c they were just over the top during the season , I chose them for this session b/c now they were in season and also the fluffiness so that I would use less flowers to accomplish a large Bo-k. The other flower was a star chrysanthemum - best part w/this flower is that it was inexpensive

Over all I felt there is also more room for error when making the arrangement b/c of the two flowers being soo meaty.

My best suggestion is to purchase the flowers the night b/f and put them in warm water to make them really open large what ever you chose. The hardest part was getting the flowers real tight as your wrap the ribbon. You will need a friend or the DH to help with that part. You also have to post pix to show us how you did
