you're definitely not asking for too much. you should be able to watch it on your tv, not a computer.

i would just say you dont have a mac, and dont know if your computer would be able to hold that much memory...
that way they have to put it on dvd.

I would be irritated ... if he's doing you a favor it should be all or nothing, IMO ... my good friend also was our videographer and made us a wonderfully edited video with music and wedding photos ... he put it on DVD with no questions asked ... but if I felt that it was a lot of work and thought he was annoyed I might offer him a 'tip' or maybe get him a present. (I'm sure he would have refused, but the offer would have been made.)
Of course, this was a great friend of mine ... not sure of your relationship with this person, KWIM?
