You can do the same colors or different...I dont think many people notice color schemes at showers to be honest with you.

I've always seen favors at showers too.

Do you know where you're having it yet?

Thanks! I was thinking of a cute black/pink theme.

I think my mom is going to have it at her house and have it catered. My sisters BM's dont seem to have anything planned, so I am trying to help my mom with this as much as I can.

I think at the house is really nice- you have alot more room to work with creative ideas.

My mom went with our colors/themes for our wedding. My FSIL also had her shower yesterday and they stuck with the wedding colors/themes. Not absolutely necessary though.

We gave out favors- tea cups with chocolate covered spoons and coffee mix. For FSIL's shower we got ice cream scoops.

i was sooooooo in charge of the decor/theme for my sil shower

i made it a point to have nothing like her wedding!!

reason being i knew how much she worked on her theme and i wanted it to shine on her big bay.

believe it or not the chics loved what i did for her shower. they thought i was a friggin party planner. i was honest. i told them i stoled the idea from jillian. lol

oh my sil favorite color is green so thats what the theme was
