Hey ladies! I know it's been a while since I've posted here, but i could really use some suggestions! My friend is getting married in July, and we are absolutely stuck for ideas for her bach party. She doesn't want to do a bar, spa, or wineries, Benihana only rents the private room until 5:00, and the Awesome 80's prom doesn't have shows on days that work for her. The girls range in age from 17 and up, so that is another factor. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!! Marie

we did the sex & the city bus tour, then dinner and out to bars for those that were of age. if you like the show, you'd love the tour! good luck!

They give out city tours for the Gossip Girl show. You can do your theme based on the show if you guys are fans. It's something different. Book a restaurant afterward and do the place setting similar to the show, an Old Hollywood Vintage Glam Look- make sure the restaurant has chandeliers and tall silver candles, arrange for floral arrangements in the center, and gold rimmed/porcelain table settings-a framed photo of you & other girls with bride to be. Set up a empty table with lace cloth and Voltaire and roses for the gifts, cards, cake, place cards. Serve pink cocktails, vanilla cupcakes (mini-tower), bite-sized hors d' oeuvres or finger foods. Dress in cocktail dresses and give out lingerie-inspired favors. Ex. pink lingerie wash and lingerie bag set, scented bodice shaped satchels, individually wrapped corset-shaped cookies, gift card for Victoria secret/gift set from Pink.

I had DJ Chef at my sister's house. IT was so much fun, people are still talking about it - a year later. I highly recommend it!!!

Thanks for your suggestions ladies-this is difficult because there are a couple of younger girls thrown into the mix, so that complicates things a bit. Thanks for your help!!!

So I was the same way for my bach party.... no clubs or bars something nice and mellow.... I suggested to my girls a broadway show/dinner (i wanted to see jersey boys) sex and the city tour, a dinner show like a murder show or like a tony/tina's wedding thing. We actually did medievil times and that was a blast.....

I didn't want bars or clubs, etc.. just something mellow that I could also have my Mom come too. So my girls took me for a day in the city. We went to madame tussauds and took silly pics with the wax celebrities, then we went to a psychic and all got readings & ended with a dinner a nice restaurant. Not your typical bachelorette, but it was fun for us!
