We signed the contract to our first home! I am excited and nauseous at the same time! I would love any advice you girls have for me, what I need to look out for with closing, mortgage info etc!

That's great news! Congratulations! Where's the house?
The only advice I have to give is start packing now! I didn't realize how much stuff I had to move. Take notes when you do your final walk-through because you will forget stuff.

oh yeah - start looking for homeowners insurance! You can't close without it and you have to pay the full year in advance so make sure it's in the budget.

Hey girls Thanks, the house is in Franklin Square, (that is as far as DH would go into Long Island) I love this house so I hope all goes well! I did not know about the homeowners insurance thank you so much! I will be looking into that, any recommendations?
