Hey ladies...thanks for all the good vibes & prayers...he just got the call that he didn't get it...this royally suucks! Hopefully one of the other eight million jobs he applied for will call...if anyone knows of any VP Marketing type jobs please let me know! I was hoping we could stay here....Thanks...

Awww I'm so sorry but maybe it wasn't the right job for him. I'm sure something better will come along!!

Thanks ladies...i am hoping something better is out there...but he's been applying for months & months...it's just getting depressing and stressful...

Hang in there, I'm so sorry he didn't get the job, but think of it this way it wasn't meant to be, and the right job will come along!!! I know it will all work out.

That STINKS but I am a firm believer in things happening for a reason..the right job is out there. Still keeping fingers crossed for you guys! Remind him its NOT his fault-we're just in an economic recession (I work for Headhunters) so jobs are a bit mrte scarce now-especially the higher up officer positions. Lots of people being laid off and downsizing.

Thats why i have stayed at this god-awful place for so long....

That stinks. I'm sorry. Try to stay positive. Executive level jobs take much longer to get. I remember when my old boss who was a VP/CMO was looking, it took almost a year. The right opportunity will come up and you'll be glad he found THAT one.

oooh - i'm so sorry it didn't work out but this can only mean that it wasn't meant to be, and there's something even BETTER coming his way. DH just went through the same thing - we kept getting disappointed but then he just found out the other day that he's starting something up that's even better than all the others. keep ur heads up!

I'm so sorry! I know you were really hoping for it!! I always believe that everythign happens for a reason! It wasn't meant to be so I'm sure he will find something even better and in the end you will look back at this and be happy he didn't get it because a better opportunity would not have shown up!
