The promotion will have him back on a 2-3 day a week in CT schedule (as opposed to the current 4 day a week) because he will be dealing with customer support and returns and since none of the customers are in CT, he can be on conference calls from here. So he will only need to be there when returns come in.
I still want him to look for jobs down here and it still could mean a move to CT, but for now its a lot better.
It's a huge honor though too, because they are basically saying that he is an engineer who has great writing skills and people skills. Which I knew, but its nice they recognized it.

That's great! I know you ultimately want to end the back and forth to CT thing but at least it's a step in the right direction.
