DH's mom asked for ...
the excel file with all the gifts that we received at the wedding ... good - she should see how cheap-a$$ certain people were!just thought i'd share ... i'm not entirely sure why

my mom asked me how much everyone gave too... i wish she would have asked for a spreadsheet instead of me having to try and think about it off the top of my head... i mean there were frickin 250 people there

she's been asking since the wedding ... but i totally forgot till just now ... oops
she just wants it for the future ... like if she goes to one of their weddings (or their children's weddings), she wants to say 'well, they gave $100 so i should only give $100 too' (or vice versa, i guess, with the generous people)

My mom had me give her a copy of the excel list too. It was so she could refer to it when she went to weddings and so on in the future and knew what we were given.

my parents wanted to know too, my dad then gave us more $$ because he was upset with what people did and didnt give. he seems to be taking it as an insult to him that a decent amount of people didnt give anything at all.

When we all have some place to go my mom calls & asks me how much someone gave as a gift, that way she can determine how much she wants to give in return. As my parents paid for the RH, I have no problem giving her the info.

i don't mind giving her the info for her guests ... though in retrospect, i should have put my family's gifts too so they would feel bad (my 20 guests gave about the same as DH's 60 guests) lol
