DH working late

So I'm eating alone and hanging around until he get's home around 9:30ish. It's nice to have some alone time, but I hate not seeing him at night!!

I hear you loud and clear!!!

DH also works late so I always eat dinner by myself. Now we got a dog to keep me company, but it's weird bc I still don't have anyone to talk to.

I know what you mean!!! DH works nights so 3 nights out of the week I am alone. I hate it. I have no urge to cook since it's just for 1, I wind up eating junk and I either go window shopping or waste hours in front of the tv.

DH worked late a few nights ago... It definatly sucksss @ss... I wait till he gets home to eat.. but I let myself eat some chocolate while hes gone to hold me over

Hahaha I could have written that!!! I say the same everyday 'today i will go back to the gym' then I get home and think what an inviting sofa and tv. Sometimes I even get changed into gym clothes then I sit for 5 hours watching Rock of love, a lifetime movie or some other trashy thing. Laziness is awful!!

Ahaha, that is hysterical b/c that is my evenings exactly. OK, I'll just watch one episode, and then go. Yeah, never happens. Then the oreos come out and it's all over.

Oh I'm jealous you have oreos!! We don't buy those because I would go through them in a day. For this reason the only foods I keep in the house are lettuce and water.
Dh told me to cancel my gym membership the other day It was like that episode of Friends. I didn't quit, $600 later I am still a member (I am thinking of going tonight )

thats exactly how I feel!!DH works nights - M_F 4pm-12pm - so the only time I see him is when I wake up next to him in bed!!

Thanks!! We also got her for security reasons, I mean she's only about 9 months now but at least she can bark!!!

I'm just so glad I'm not the only one!!!! DH doesn't understand how I can eat ice cream for dinner!!!!!

My DH works nights ... he doesn't get home til after midnight So, I eat by myself 5 nights a week. I hate it! I wish he worked mornings ... I miss him soooo much!

Mary Kate I totally know how you feel. Chuck works late all the time and I hate it. Spending the night alone and have dinner alone blows. But hopefully all his hard work will pay off and someday he'll be around more.

It was pretty lonely, but I made dinner for one and watched a lot of TV. We both get off at 1pm today, so I'm sooo excited, it will totally make up for not seeing him last night! Thank for checking in on me!!
