so a friend is having a baby; she didnt register and for some reason i remembered another friend saying when she had her baby she loved the diaper genie. so i bought it for the other friend. now...i'm reading the box....and someone please, please clue me in on this....it says each refil can hold up to 180 diapers. now, does that mean you stuff 180 stinky diapers in that sh!tpot then throw the bag out????????
what am i missing?

I registered for that! I think it has 180 bags in the canister that you pull down into the trash can.

Okay, I just re-read the descriptions. The trash can itself can hold 30 diapers. So maybe there are 6 bags in the refill? So 180 diapers total. It's a pretty small package, so the 180 bags wouldn't make sense either hahaha.

yeah it holds about 25 dipers.... they are GREAT in day cares and preschools....
but do not try to even keep more then 4 or 5 at a time if its home
its great.. the bags stay on the bottom and it has an airfreshner.. its great.

I use the Diaper Dekor instead of the Diaper Genie. I think its easier to use (no twisting, has foot pedal to open)
As for the 180 diapers, its one BIG bag that you knot at the bottom. When it gets full, (10 diapers or so) you pull the bag down from the bottom & cut it with this little thing & knot & repeat. After about a month, you have to replace the big bag.
Does that make sense?

still sounds confusing to me but i guess when you actually use it it makes sense....
