I did i had two people that were not invited show up to the hall. I was so pissed. To add to it my sister cought the boq and she grabs it from her and was like i need it. I really wish my sister said to her no you were not invited so you should not get it but she didn't want to start a fight.

YES IT DOES!!!!! Get ready for it. Some people have no class whatsoever. I had one guy that was not invited, show up with his girlfriend and his friend.

The only crasher I know about was at my friend's wedding in NJ. One of our old HS friends brought his GF - they'd been dating a while so I don't know why he didn't RSVP for her....he also gave a non-monetary gift that I'm sure wasn't worth much. He's eccentric so I don't think anyone was surprised- it's one of those where you are happy to have him there...I'm still inviting him to my wedding tho!!

Nope, but we only had 100 people, including me and DH and we knew everyone there. If someone crashed, we definitely would have noticed.

Where do these people sit if they just show up at the reception? Aren't the table settings already done when you make the guest list??

AH HAH! GREAT QUESTION!!!
Yes, my table settings WERE already done.
This guy just went to his parent's table and then his Dad asked a waiter to set up another place setting.
It happened to work out because early in the evening, I pointed out to my Maitre D that 2 of my tables were reversed. So, I think the waitstaff just assumed that this was part of the error, so they just brought over another chair and table setting.
That's what I get for demanding round tables with enough room for 12 people, but only putting 10 people at each table...
