Did anyone else have a hard time getting used to

your new last name (that is if you took his)?

It feels so strange to call myself something other than who I was for the last 32 years, but it makes him so happy!!!

Yes, I guess that is why I haven't started to change everything. And I still answer the phone as Tara etc......

It certainly felt strange but i love it!! i cahnged my name and started using it right away. DH would have gotten mighty insulted if i kept my or didnt use his. hes very old-fashioned that way!!

I get confused. For work purposes I am still using my maiden name, legally I hyphenated but it is so long I usually just say his name. I sometimes forget who knows me as which!

I'm still getting use to it and getting my act together doing all of the official name change stuff. I finally got my SS card changed, so now I can change my name at work.

I haven't legally changed anything - except put myself on his bank account (with my married name). I'm still using my maiden name for all other purposes. I'll get around to it, just waiting until I have time.
