Re: Did anyone else have trouble with their thank you's?
I also included a sentence about our honeymoon if I had too much room and how we're enjoying the early stages of marriage...

i said stuff like'we're so glad you were able to be there, sharing in the celebration of our new life together'
'we hope you had a good a time as we did'
'What a wonderful feeling to be surrounded by so many people who love us'

I liked this line...'We had the most amazing time, the day couldn't have been more perfect.'

Re: Did anyone else have trouble with their thank you's?
I don't know if this could apply for you but for alot of our guests that came overseas I am writing 'we are thrilled that you came all the way to be with us on our wedding day...'Or 'we're so glad/happy/thankful you were able to share our wedding day with us'
Or 'Thank you for your thoughtfulness' for those that sent gifts but didn't come to the wedding. And something about what we will do with the gift (either 'we put it towards saving for a home' or 'used your gift certificate at a restaurant in Hawaii' or 'can't wait to go crazy in 'Store name' with your gift card').
I'm not going to write that much - I like to keep it short and sweet' but I know what you mean. Writing the same words all the time starts to get boring!
