did anyone watch the show Blush

WARNING: if you didnt see the finale there is a spoiler, i dont say who won but will spoil it a bit


Last night was so weird, Dh and i were flipping the channels and saw the show double shot at love, it was towards the end but we also saw the first episode. There was this young girl on the show, and dh was saying how it was one of his favorites. Anyways at the end of the show they say in memory to her and that she died in a tragic car accident and she was 22.

THEN i watch the show blush after, i have been watching it from the beginning. My favorite was Todd, I LOOVED him. I kept telling dh how he was my favorite, he was the most adorable thing and really just so sweet and nice on the show. He lived in NYC and was so talented. Well last night was the finale and he was one of the finalists but didnt win and at the end he even says, well i am only 23 years old and i learned alot and still have my whole life ahead of me, and i even thought, its true he is so young and still has his whole life ahead of him. THEN at the end of the show it says in memory of Todd he died too, he just died this past Saturday . So right after the show i went online quickly to look it up. He just went to bed and never woke up, his bf found him dead. The coroner said that there were no drugs, alcohol or any pills in his system, so of course with him being 23 they had to do more tests bc this was weird. HE never had medical problems either, but they noticed something on the muscle of his heart and now they are saying it seems like he had heart problems but just never knew. I was so sad, he was so young its horrible.

it was also just weird to watch 2 shows in a row and somebody from each show dying just recently and both were extremely young

ETA: although he lived in manhattan at the moment, he grew up in Huntington, LI and his mother still lives there

I read about the guy from Blush in the paper today. So sad! I didn't get to watch Double Shot of Luv get----I hadn't heard about that person. Wow, that is just so strange and sad.

yeah i was like OMG W**. The girl from double shot at love had actually gotten eliminated last night and then after they showed it and said she died in a tragic accident. I think this just happened a few weeks ago. A car rear ended her and ejected her out of the car. Her name was candice but they called her candy on the show

it was real freaky, and at least with the girl that died they had the twins say something about her and how she died and saying it was in memory of her. With Todd they didnt say anything and at the end of the show you just saw a pic of him and said in memory of of Todd Homme, and it quickly went away, it was like WAIT WHAT i had to go online to see what happened.

I didn't watch either of these shows, but this happened to a good friend of my DH several years ago. I don't remember his exact age...I'm pretty sure he was in his late 20's, maybe early 30's. He was a fireman, a captain actually, so he would have had regular physical exams. He definitely did not have a drug problem. From what I remember, his girlfriend found him on the floor in the bathroom....very sad. I don't remember if the autopsy was conclusive. Actually, come to think of it, my friend had a similar situation with her brother...around same age, died in his sleep. I don't know if it's an undetected heart problem or a blood clot...very scary.

yeah i know of somebody in my neighborhood and same thing. Very young and had a heart problem, its so sad and horrible

ESPO...Are you sure his name was Todd? I had a freidn from college who died last month the same exact way ...he was from Huntingon also (THAT IS SO WIERD) his name was not Todd though....and he was 25 or 26 but it is eerie that they died the SAME WAY lived in Manhattan and were both from Huntington....what did he look like on the show???

true, since the finale was last night then i think people will realize it might have spoilers. Yeah and his outfits werent even the craziest part of him, his personality was just way out there. He would cry and go crazy for every little thing. I did like Nolan too, he seemed very nice

I don't know, it's weird how you hear of that so much more with younger people. Oh, and a step-cousin of mine in her early 40's was prone to migraine headaches. Long story short, her daughter came home from school and found her on the floor. She died from an aneurism....devastating to the family. Hate to be doom and gloom, but you just never know.

yes his name is Todd Homme. THis guy just died this past weekend, and he was on a reality show. He is gay and a make up artist but he is 23 years old.
