For a small amount of time...then we went back to normal. I think for us it was both of us and the excitment of married sex in every room of the home we just bought.

ETA

Now we only have TTC sex...lol!

Ummm... we'll I'm a lot less stressed and I'm off for the summer. DH is 37 but has the drive of a 17 year old.

Let's just say, DH is VERY happy and... if the house is a rockin' don't come a knockin'

FIL joked about our honeymoon, we were in London for the bombing... he said we should respond to everyone's questions with 'What bombing? OMG, there was a bombing in London? We had no idea!'

This is an old post bumped up but it ties in nicely to the thread about being 'down in the dumps' after the wedding.
With being sad and down alot of the time, the drive for both of us isnt the same.

He's a little more frisky. But I think that is because we both used to live at home before we got married. I think it is the excitement of having privacy.

I think it's a cyclical thing; you can't always maintain optimium romance; DH and I go through phases....

last night he said something extremely romantic:
he wants to create a planner for our marriage, marking all the future events we will experience together, things that are milestones in our lives...when we got home from dinner he started working on it, writing down things like Having our first child hopefully next year, travelling to such and such places, etc.

My heart just melted!

Could it be bc you guys have so much going on? new house, baby on the way......

It changed when I got pg. By the time I was 5 months pg (married a little over 6 months), he was never in the mood. I know he was stressed bc we just moved into our house and I got laid off. Now the baby is here and things are less hectic, his drive is back up.

Well DH and I have been together for 10 years, living together for 4, so we kind of go through ups and downs with our sex life.
For the most part, I tend to want it a lot more than DH. lol!
