It seems their is soooo much planning involved something is bound to happen. Just curious if everything went 100% or their were some things that went wrong.
**my dad got drunk only a few of us knew...but he reeked during the f/d dance
**my photographer brought a video trainee...and got in the way of my hired video...thankfully I didn't know about this at the wedding...it was handled professionally
**I didn't really like my hair or make-up

Re: Did anything go wrong on your wedding day?
The only thing I can think of is the weather. It was a miserable rainy day.

Re: Did anything go wrong on your wedding day?
First the weather started out horrible -- it was pouring, but by the time the photographer got to my house, the sun miraculously came out and the day turned out beautiful!!!
Oh, my BIL forgot his suit back home in Jersey and my mother and sister was so mad at him!!! I told everyone that if that was the worst thing to happen today, then shut up! He wanted to go back home and get it since he was doing a reading, but we wouldn't let him!! He ended up wearing one of my father's suits from like 1976 and we all cracked up about it!!!
And the other thing that happened was my balloons flew away before we got out of church!! I was so neurotic about them and bugged the crap out of my BIL to make sure they got to the church, when the limo driver told me they blew away, I couldn't care less!!!
If there was anything else, it was so minor, I didn't give it a second thought!!!

Crisco - sorry to laugh but I am envisioning that cake topper - I don't know what I would have done if someone added one to my cake. I would have though it was a joke....

Re: Did anything go wrong on your wedding day?
there were supposed to be charis for the bridal party to sit in during our ceremony in the garden of Fox Hollow. I told the Matire D' when I was inthe garden taking pics. They set up the chairs but instead of angling them and facing the crowd...he placed them flankin gus and the huppa...so the brdail party could not really see us and we were right there!!
Other thing is that I felt we did not get to FH early enough...I kept rushing everyone out of the hotel to hurry up and get to Fox Hollow . We were to get dressed there and take pics and we were about 30 min late.
oh...I didnt like my hari either. I had to get it done the day b4 cuz the lady who was doing it would not drive out to fox hollow- she doesnt drive on the highway (I didnt think that there were STILL people who couldnt DO THIS!)...so I show up at her house to get my hari done and shes not there!!! she is supposed to do my hair, my mil and my MOH. I drive over to my MOHs house- 5 min away, tell her and she has a pager number for the lady. She beeps heer...and the lady had forgotton about me!

Re: Did anything go wrong on your wedding day?
Well our wedding was 9/15/01. Just four days after 9/11. There were a few of us brides on here that got married that weekend.
With all of that going on and not even knowing if we could get to Long Island (we live in NC) for the wedding, not to mention the guests and the bridal party it was still a magnificent day that we will always remember.
The worst thing was missing five members of our bridal party and several of our closest friends who could not make it.
The best thing: not losing any of our friends or family in the tragedies and our friends and family that drove through the night from Florida, North Carolina, etc., and took extra time off from work just to be there for us!
My point is -- after all of that we still had a terrific wedding with hardly a glitch. So don't worry about any of it. Enjoy it all and things will work out just fine.
