Re: did it feel different?
I think I have a sense of serenity now that we are married. We are now a family and that is what feels so wonderful.

Only for the better! We are our own family now. It is nice to know that we always have time to spend together even if it is only when we are sleeping

Re: did it feel different?
At first it felt very much the same, almost like it didn't really happen. But as time went on I realized that our relationship did change now that we're married. We're officially a family and esp by taking his name I feel a closer bond to him than I did before.
Give it time and let it 'sink in', you'll start to feel it soon...and when it does it's the best feeling in the world!!!!!!!!

Re: did it feel different?
It did change. It feels BETTER!! We both feel more committed, more secure and more patient with one another. As my husband says, he has to keep me happy so that no other man ever has the opportunity to make me happy. We are responsible for loving one another and taking care of one another forever. That was our promise.
ETA: Jimmy and I have lived together for 10 years, so it isn't a 'new' experience for us.

Re: did it feel different?
yeah we have already been living together, join account, joint bills, etc., and we already do and talk about everything. So no surprises and no changes in who we are.

We never lived together, so our relationship def changed after we got married. It got much better, hard to explain..but it's a great feeling

Re: did it feel different?
We lived with one another before the wedding, so not much changed, but we def. have a stronger connection and are very much in lovey dovey moods a lot of the time!

Re: did it feel different?
Its funny because we didn't live together before the wedding, so I thought it would be so different, but it wasn't! Living together feels so natural, we really haven't had any problems adjusting to it. So to answer the orignal question, no it doesn't feel different. Sometimes when I think about it though I am amazed I am married, I still can't believe it!

Re: did it feel different?
i don't think our relationship changed much at all... its been more than a year, and things are still great... we're best friends and have so much fun wth each other. i think the biggest adjustment we had to make was just having our own house, and just all teh stuff that goes along with it- doing dishes, laundry, keeping up with bills, maintenance, food, etc... he grew up with a mom who never worked, so the 'fairies' did all thst stuff while he was in school during the day- so its taking him a awhile to catch on that this stuff doesn't just get magically done and that we both need to contribute... but other than that, its great
