Did the stress go away after you got married?

We have 2 months until our wedding and I feel like the stress level is at an all time high!! I feel like we are always arguing over nothing! We are also in the middle of buying a house too.

AHHHHH... Please tell me that it gets better! We never used to argue before we got engaged! Thank you!!

Yes, it gets better. And, believe it or not, you will miss the planning, you will miss the excitement, you will miss the attention, and you will miss the big day once it's over!

I was more stressed in getting my house in order than the wedding planning.....it did go away after we settled in.

yes it will all disappear!!
but now i'm stressed for other reasons.

Job hunting, career change, apartment hunting.... but it's more of an exciting stress.

we were sooooooooo stressed out - an all time high - miserable, crying, fighting in the weeks before. the day of the wedding, it all disappeared and hasn't come back since! it's normal and natural and happens to everyone!

I was miserable also. Crying, arguing, etc. But it does get better. I did have dreams for a few weeks after the wedding that I was wearing the wrong dress, that nobody was on the coach bus that we ordered, etc. But even they went away. And now there's such a feeling of calm and peace just being together. It sounds so cheesy, but it's true! Not that we don't fight...

Oh boy does it go away!!! YES>>it goes away! Dh and I fought like cats and dogs. and same with us..never fought like that until we started actively making wedding plans!!! UGH! Being engaged was not a happy time for me..I didnt enjoy much of it to be honest. My stress disapperaed when we were standing at the altar, tehn i knew I was going to be ok..and its been gone ever since! ( Except now we stress about saving for a house)...this stress will go away!!! they say the three biggest stressors are getting married, buying a house and having children..you are doing TWO of those things all at once!!! Yikes..no wonder you are stressed!!!

I may be the minority here..but I did NOT miss planning my wedding..I didnt miss ANY of it..was glad to get on with my life and have things back to normal!!!! Hang in there! Its almost over!!!

YES!!!!!!!!!!!
I was never so thrilled that all the stress was gone. People drove us NUTS right b4 the wedding. This is why I do not miss wedding planning at all. Yes, I wish I can wear my gown again, but I do not miss the incredibel stress that I had. It will get better. I promise.

No one ever talks about the stress of being engaged! They always say to enjoy the time..I haven't found the time to be enjoyable at all! I cait wait to be a Mrs. in 54 days!!

i thought i was going to be so sad once it was all over, that the planning was done, and i thought i would have nothing to do....you plan for so long, you forget what life was like not planning a wedding.
but once that day is over, it's like a huge weight is lifter off your shoulders....and you can breathe again - your life is no longer a budget and a timetable, and every little thing does not get on your nerves!
your wedding will be wonderful, and afterwards, you can finally relax!

oh, and the last couple of months flew by for me, so watch out!!

the day of my wedding was the best day and the least stressful because by then you realize that's it... It does get so much better because the planning is over and all you have to do is get married to the love of your life, have an awesome time at your reception then enjoy the honeymoon with your DH.
