Did the stress go away after you got married?

Yes it goes away, at least it did for us. The morning of the wedding I woke up stresss free b/c I knew it was out of my hands and I planned it as best as I could and the rest is up to the vendors. My best advice would to be to try to relax and everything falls into place even thought it might not look like it will

Wedding stress disappeared-but the other kind moved right in. Baby making, house buying, etc. It's not bad- but reality.

We had a 9 mos. engagment. In the beginning, it was the best feeling in the World!!! Towards the middle of my engagement til the end, it was so stressful. Mainly because The family caused us so much stress and we were upset because they made it all about them and would forget about our feelings. They thought we were over reacting. In turn, We would argue all the time. Towards the end, I was so stressed and wanted to pull every hair out of my head.

Now that we will be married 5 mos., I can honestly say I love being married to my DH. I feel like our relationship has grown and it continues to grow each day. It's a great feeling!!!

The stress will go away! A wedding is such a huge, complex event... it's hard not to worry about every little detail. You'll be fine!

it gets better, but it also becomes different types of stress......planning the wedding and all the family garbage that went with it was the biggest obstacle but we dealt with it, and now we're moving on to the rest of our lives....
