did this happen to any of you

after i got engaged/marired- everybody i know got engaged or married as well- i mean just about all of my friends got engaged at the same time- no matter what point in their relationship it seemed.

No, but I wish someone would, I want to attend a wedding or be in someone's wedding, all my friends look at me like I am crazy when I say so when will I be in or at your wedding.

Sometimes it starts an epidemic. After our wedding, my Uncle got engaged.He's been with his girlfriend for about 3 months.

not really - all of our friends from college had been dating for several years, so it was the natural progression to get engaged.....

not me. Before this year I was going to 6-7 weddings a year for the last three years (I am not exaggerating either!). This year was only mine and my brothers. I do have 4 so far for next year! I think a bunch of my friends are starting the house buying and baby making boom!

well what happended is whenmy dh told his brother he was getting engaged -brother goes and buys a ring for his gf out of the clear blue, then his sister gets engaged, then my friend gets engaged, then another engaged, and another one on the way to get engaged . im going to have to take a small personal loan for all these weddings.

I think your DH brother needed company and he was afraid to do it on his own So once your hubby told him, he got brave and that is what all started it. That is a lot of people to be getting married. WOW, the bridal industry is really one to be in.

I am so with you on wanting to go to someone else's wedding or be in one now that I am married! I thought it was only me. None of my friends are engaged or close to that though.

Stacey, I know some of them want to but the men they are with are not even thinking along those lines. I want to plan someone's shower and bachelorette party, I want to wear a nice bridal party dress, I want to have a bo-k, I want the experience.

My husband and I went to 7 weddings this year - including our own. All of our friends got engaged at the same time!
So far, we only have two weddings next year.

It happened to my FH (kind of). Only 2 of his friends are now single, and 4 (inlcuding him) are either married or engaged.

All my girlfriends are still single, but one is dating.

LOL Shamma, been there done that on the bride part, now me want to be a BM!!! I have only been a BM once, that isn't enough!!! Besides been there done that, we got the low down on helping now that we have been through it all!!!
