We went to see a Barry Manilow concert, actually he sacrificed (not something he is into!) but we had a great time!

Re: Did you do anything to celebrate your 6th month anniversary?

We didn't do anything crazy... went out to a local dinner but nothing super fancy, etc.

It was just nice that DH remembered and actually acknowledged it

Re: Did you do anything to celebrate your 6th month anniversary?

Nothing crazy - quiet dinner at home. We actually ate our wedding cake, because I needed room in the freezer.

The cake was ok - it was starting to get freezer burn.

Re: Did you do anything to celebrate your 6th month anniversary?

Ours is Friday but we haven't made any plans yet.

We're going to be moving so we will be busy and I don't want to be extravagant because of the move. I would like to go to dinner at the GWM, that would make me happy. I don't know if we'll do gifts- there's nothing that I want at the moment and I wouldn't know what to get Dh either! We're really obsessed with the house at the moment.

May 23 will be the 2 year anniversary of when we met. For whatever reason I'd rather do something big then.

Mine is in 2 weeks. I am thinking about making reservations at the Bellport Country Club for dinner.

Yeah I made his favorite dinner - Shrimp Scampi, we had wine and I made appetizers and got him a card.

Re: Did you do anything to celebrate your 6th month anniversary?

We were going to but we had group plans that weekend so it came and went and we didn't do anything like we planned on Saturday so we went out to a nice breakfast Sunday. Nothing too special.

Re: Did you do anything to celebrate your 6th month anniversary?

I don't think I even realized it was our 6th month anniversary at the time. We are not big into that, just our wedding anniversary annually.

Re: Did you do anything to celebrate your 6th month anniversary?

We went out to dinner at Westbury Manor with both sets of parents. We didn't exchange gifts, cards or anything.

Eating the cake on that day is a good idea; hopefully it tasted better than it did on the year anniversary!!

Re: Did you do anything to celebrate your 6th month anniversary?

No not really. We had dinner with my parents the night before (a Saturday). But the actual day was un-eventful.
