Did you like your 'day of' look?

achieving your perfect 'look' for the wedding is a hard task.
many girls wanted to lose weight. some had to decide whether to dye their hair or not. deciding what shade of make up to go with etc.

when all was said and done...were you happy with your end result the day of? if not, what would you have changed?

wasnt totally happy with my makeup but loved everything else... in the end, it really didnt matter much

Loved it all......I look back at the pictures and can't believe how good I looked. Def dont look like that on a regular basis.

lol i felt the same way...i was like oh wow i clean up nice!

i do wish my hair was a bit longer. the girl cut my hair too short a few months before the wedding but i still achieved the look i wanted.

thx hun.... i think im juist not used to makeup in general since i dont use it KWIM? vin said he liked my day of better than my trials so as long as hes happy

LOL thats how I feel. I need to learn how to do better makeup and I HAVE to get that skinny again...I've EASILY put on a 10 spot since then!

well i knew from the start i was not going to like the way i look..im not a dres person lol and dont ike how i ook in them

make up and hair came out awesome..but in hindsight i only wish i put it all up cause i was hot lol

so i look at it like this..was i the most glamours bride..nope..but the smile i had on my face all day made up for it

I only wish I had done my nails dark brown but, the french looked good so whatever.

Nope not at all...but I dont think id ever be happy. Im not a 'girly' girl so i felt all weird being dolled up. I mean i thought i looked 'as good as I will get' but definitely wasnt in love...fell victim to letting thers decide what i looked like that day lol

LOVED my hair and makeup......the only thing is that i prob would have tried to lose more weight.

I wish I was a little thinner but I feel like dance/gym/dieting was the furthest thing from my mind before the wedding....esp since I had fractured my foot 8 months before and was on crutches.

ETA:

That I looooooooooooooooved my dress, 2nd dress, my veil, my jewelry, my shoes, my make up, and my hair. So I was really happy with my overall look.

For the most part... my makeup was a little overdone in the pics we took at my house - but I liked how everything looked from the church on.

Yup, 100% thrilled with my day of look in each and every way. I think I was so happy because I completely followed my heart in each and every decision. My gown, my veil, my makeup, my hair, my shoes...I definitely spent $$$ on my look, but it was worth every penny!!!

I loved my look but I wish I was a little more toned. I feel like I was in the worst shape right before my wedding. I had a rough few months leading up to the wedding and I did not work out as hard as I had planned to. In the end there are only a few pictures that it is really noticiable in and my friends and family think I am nuts for even complaing.

I wish I was heavier on my day (don't hate me).
I lost too much from stress that
a) I took in second dress even more and felt when I first got it I looked more voluptuous
b) my first dress...same thing that the corset back didn't look 'corset-y' b/c it had to be tied very tight. Thank god I got corset back or it would of been loose (so I liked the way it fit but when looking at pics of back, it just looked 'tied').

My hair actually came out better than what I thought it would..I'd say that was the most perfect thing..it wasn't too curly, in my face and did not frizz! (it actually looked great the next day too!).

My make-up...here's the thing...
I do make up part time so I am picky as hell plus MUA was late.
I loved my airbrush and eyeshadow. I had to line my own eyes due to rushing and it wasn't perfect. I felt she put the lashes on a little uneven. The blush might of been heavy too but hard to tell until I see pics big.
If I had that extra 30 min I would of caught it. BUT it did last ALL night into my after party!

BUT everyone says I am nuts and only I would notice that.
