I can't decide on which pictures. We've been married for 6 months, and still no album. I can't decide which ones to pick. We get 50 pics out of 918 proofs. I can get more, but I'm NOT SPENDING ANOTHER DIME on this wedding. I think I might just let DH pick the ones he likes, and let the photographers choose the rest...... HOW DID YOU DECIDE?

we haven't received our printed proofs yet.... but we do have them all on DVD.
We had about 950 pictures, and can choose 100 for the album.
Right now, I just made a folder on the computer of my favorite pictures... which is about 165. Then I plan on organizing them into the different parts of the day, and narrowing it down from there.....

Well, first I made 3 piles...Yes, No and Maybe. Then I went through the maybes and split them into yes and no. Then I went through the final Yes pile and put them in chronological order. After that, I started to notice doubles, I picked one really nice one of myself alone and one of DH alone, chose a couple from each stage of the day. For me it was getting ready, BP, Limo, Church, Coney Island, Brooklyn Bridge and then finally the reception. You'll probably want a shot of the entrance, first dance, cake, garter/bok toss (if you did that) and then people dancing. Of course i included some larger family pics. It took me about 4 hours by myself (over a few days) and I was at the photographer for about 2.5 hours putting them together. I went pretty soon after the wedding...I was excited, plus it is not even coming in until October!

I was on some kind of mission to get my album done. We got our pictures on a Thursday, and I dropped off the ones I wanted to use by the following Tuesday. We had 1500 pictures and we had only 100 going into our album. I started by separating the pictures in 3 groups. Group 1 pictures I loved, Group 2 pictures I liked, and group 3, pictures I could have done without. Then I went through the ones I loved and tried to come up with a nice collection of pictures that would highlight the whole night beginning to end.

I went through all the proofs and took ones I defenitly did not want out. Then I sorted them into piles- family pics, church shots etc. I then laid all of these out on the floor next to each other and cut the ones that were very similar. I kept doing this until I got down to 70. My package included 60 ,but i ****** it up and paid an extra hunded bucks. I just couldnt cut anymore.

nope not yet!! we went through our proofs but havent picked out the photos we want for our album yet...we need to really sit down and devote an entire day to it!
