Did you split up the writing duties for thank yous?

Did you split up the writing duties for thank yous?

Or did you do it yourself?

I'm not wild about DH's handwriting but if it makes it easier- he can write his guests' TYs and I'll write my own!

I dunno...just curious how you ladies did it. Thanks!

Im thinking of doing it by myself- however, I feel like some of his family hardly knows me (out of state) and probably rather the card be in his handwriting, no?

nope........ i spent 3 days all by my lonesome hammering out 160 TYs... DH kept procrastinating, so I just did them myself!

Tara - Roy wrote the thank you's for his guests and I wrote the thank you's for mine. Roy's handwriting kinda stinks too but it was fine..at least I didn't have to do his!

He did his and I did mine. He then helped me write the Russian ones since my Russian skills still stayed at my kindergarden level of education

Yes, he wrote the thank yous for his side and I wrote them for mine. But I did have to give him a template and instructions.

I wrote TY for my side and DH wrote them for his side.

DH handwriting is not the greatest at all so I ended up writing all the thank you's but he addressed the envelopes, put the thank you in and put on the stamp. At least he helped in some way.

That was my plan. Notice the 'was.' I even wrote the thank yous to his college friends! Can you imagine? DH told me I had such nice handwriting (true...but still...). He didn't even stamp them or anything!

sh*t, I even wrote the ones in polish

I don't know one word of polish.... it had to be dictated to me

DH claims his handwriting is illegible.... that's how he stuck me with it

I did all of them by myself. But in all honesty.....I think they should be split. I think DH should do his side, Bride, hers.

We just finished our TY's today. FH was a star. We split them. He did his guests and I did mine.
