Why ask for ideas if you're gonna shoot them all down?

mmmm.. thats what i was thinking originally.
but i never thought of cinnamon. i only do that if i use too much salt.
i dont have whole basil leaves, just ground.
is it doable?
i need a recipe!

i didn't intend to shoot them all down, i love the ideas, but if i dont have taco shells then i can't do that. same with buns...
i didn't wanna post what i have in my pantry (again
)just wanted to see some suggestions and hope maybe one clicked... barbs might work. if i have everything.

Re: dinner ideas
yea, its fine.take a sauce pan, put a lil olive oil.. let it heat up.. chop up onions.. throw them in do NOT burn them. medium-low heat.
throw in the chopped meat. add salt pepper oregano basil and cinnamin as its coking chop it up with a wooden spoon.
drain out water and add a can or 2 of tomato or tomato sauce/paste.
u can leave the oil and a lil water so it can be 'saucy'.. pour over pasta.

Re: dinner ideas
Chili - all you need is one of those $.99 packets of chili seasoning and some tomato sauce I think and a can of beans. That's what we're having Wednesday.

Re: dinner ideas
What about baked spaghetti and chopped meat??? Just make spagetti, brown the chopped meat and mix it all together with a little sauce and top with a can of cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup and bake until top is golden. It's good...just sounds gross....

Re: dinner ideas
To draw off of your salad idea few posts back:I brown the meat, add taco seasoning...
Then I make the salad:
lettuce
corn
tomato
cucumber
shredded cheddar cheese
a spoonful of salsa
add the seasoned meat
(and if you're not watching calories, crush up some tostitos!)
mix and voila! taco salad - i found this awesome guacamole-esque dressing that i use as well... so tasty and filling.
