Re: Dinner Roundup
I'm going out to eat with people from work. Never been to the place before but I saw this on the menu & laughed
Buzzsaw Steak Chili Cup $2.99 Bowl $3.99 'If you know beans about chili, you know chili has no beans' Brad Waugh’s cousin’s recipe won the Texas Chili Cook-off! We only got it because we have photos of him with a goat! Topped with onions & cheddar cheese

i love pasta and peas, FIL makes it and its so good.
TOnight not sure, but probably something with chicken since i want to cook it before it goes bad. Maybe baked chicken or chicken cutlets but done with flour and eggs instead of breadcrumbs. WIth either macaroni and cheese since DH said he was in the mood for it or i was going to suggest to him polenta with cheese. Either way i dont care lol

i responded in the earlier post but why not one more time...
Chicken Parm(everyone made me want it yesterday lol) with Rigatoni on the side & some garlic bread. I was gonna do a nice big salad instead of all the carbs...but AF is coming tomorrow and i need carbs lol (however now i'm reading all these posts & want salad!)

I eat this thing called Voodoo chicken at a creole restaurant and it is the most amazing thing. Its blackened chicken though, not actually black but the process of cooking it is called blackened in creole thats all. Wonder if its the same thing.

Re: Dinner Roundup
We just finished about 1/2 hour ago. I made flank steak, which was marinating from like 1:00 to 6 ... sooo good. And I made roasted red potatoes and green beans. If I was working, we'd still be cooking - one good thing about not working, we eat at 6/6:30 every night, and earlier if we need to! DH always comes home and says he's not hungry though (he works around the block basically and is home at 5:10), so I wait a while.
