Does anyone elses DH leave there clothes wherever they took them off? I'm far from being neat but is it too much trouble to walk the extra 5 feet to the hamper and put them in! I refuse to pick them up but it's really annoying. Anyone ever break someone from this bad habit?

My DH used to do this...I used to pick them up and hide them away only to give them as Christmas presents. Socks when they are new aren't any fun, imagine when they are dirty. He now makes it to the hamper in a relatively short amount of time.

I've managed to get DH to put his dry cleanables into a hamper instead of piling them on top of the dresser in the guest room (his suits are in a closet in there).

It must be annoying but I would leave them there. Don't pick them up and maybe he'll get the hint. Stay strong!!!

For mine it's his side of the bed on the floor or the loveseat cushion. I can't stand it and am always after him to please put his clothes away.

DH is 'allowed' to dump his clothes on a chair in the bedroom....that is it! Otherwise it's all over. It's bad enough it overflows out of the hamper

He's actually really good about putting it in the hamper. I think I'm actually more the culprit of leaving things where I took them off, even if I do pick them up relatively soon.

HMMM MY DH DOES THIS ALL THE TIME! I for the life of me can not figure out why in the world Mike has to stand on in the hallway outside of the bedroom or bathroom and take off his clothes and leave them on the floor.

My DH still does that, but I stopped trying to fight it, he makes up for it in so many other ways that I just pick up his clothes in the morning.
He unloads and loads the dishwasher all the time, and I have a tendency to let it go...so I guess that's our give and take.
