Hopefully the next president will be able to work something out with healthcare. Im so sick of reading terrible stories like this, it just shouldnt happen

this is sad, and this is also the reason that some people never get married, because they can't afford the medical cost without help

i sure hope so.. it's like there's a class of people that just works harder and harder and the other just reaps all the benefits.. whoever the next president is, has the daunting task of reengergizing people..

It's so sad and reminds me of a conversation I had not too long ago with MIL. She and FIL have been married for 45 years and she has really really bad Rheumatoid Arthritis. She's supposed to be on a medication called Embrel which was covered under her Medicaid. Unfortunately, now it is not covered anymore by her plan so it would cost her $1,500 a month to live pain-free. They put her on a new medication which causes bruising all over her body and she still has pain. Sadly, if she was to divorce FIL, she would fall in a lower bracket and be eligible for the coverage again. Her quality of life now is terrible, some days she can't even get out of bed. It's so sad.

That is so sad, and pathetic that she has to do this to have insurance. That is one reason I think that this election is so important...so things like this won't happen.
