Im finally going to get my new license this afternoon. I have to change my name on it and the state. I hate going to the DMV- there is always something thats a problem! LOL. I should have gone forever ago, but I got a new job 2 days after getting back from our honeymoon and only starting in September could I take time off- and the DMV always closes before I can get there. Anyway, wish me luck!

Gina, go to the DMV downtown, near Wall St. I was in and out, no problem at all and there's actually smart people working on that one.

I heard somewhere I have togo to the one in the county where I reside because I am not only changing my name, but also becomming a resident. I don't know if thats true, but Id rather just go to the one on LI and play it safe.
