DMV and name change

I haven't changed my name officially yet

Can I change my name on my driver's license before I change it with Social Security?

What do I need to bring to DMV besides my marriage certificate??

I think you can. I happened to do it all in one day. You'll need your current license and marriage license. If you plan to change your registration too BE SURE to bring your title to your car. I didn't and my car is still registered in my maiden name and everything else is in married name

Betty,

you can change your registration at the DMV by bringing in your title?? Cool, I've wanted to add DH to my title for a while so we can get our multi-car discount with State Farm...
