Do any of you dislike DH's friends or their wives?
I love DH's best friend, but can't stand his wife. She is rude and speaks to everyone like they are 2 years old. The moved to Charlotte NC earlier this year. DH wants to go visit them Christmas week. I want to go, but I'd rather stay in a hotel. DH said I have to deal w/her for a few days.

DH's Best Man has a girlfriend that previous to the wedding, I could not stand. She was always making the kind of insulting comments that you wouldn't realize were insulting until about 5 minutes later and by then it would have been too late to say anything back.
BUT--at our wedding she was so helpful and kind. I saw a side of her that I had never seen before. I also spent a lot of time with her after the wedding this summer and she turned out to be really very nice and nothing like I had thought.
I do hear you about the hotel though...even if I loved my DH's friends I would not want to stay in their home for days. I need my privacy!

yeah, I don't have to worry about that yet... none of his friends are married yet. I wouldn't want to stay in their house either.... sigh....

For the most part I like them all, but they can get on my nerves occsasionally.

I don't like some of DH's friends, but his closest friends I do like. For the most part I like their SO's as well.

i love all of DH's friends... Most of them are single so its funny b/c im like the GIRLFRIEND to all of them... well, not like THAT... but I like knowng that Im already *in* and they treat me like one of the guys...

I mostly LOVE all of DHs friends...tho there is one that wasnt in the BP and he feels he should have been stupid asss.
I would need a hotel too, just b/c I need to have my own space

Also, they start their day on the weekends at 11;00 a.m. (they stay in bed and chill for several hours until 11:00 a.m and I/we are early risers. I wouldn't feel comfortable getting coffee from their kitchen either.
